Who can you think of and what have they done for America?

My wife's parents , my grandparents on mother's side.
Nothing spectacular, came over, learned the language, got jobs, worked, obeyed the laws. . No big deal.
Paid taxes, stayed out of jail, no big deal. At least to them it wasn't!

If you are defending legal immigrants I agree they have contributed greatly! They made the country great! If you are trying to defend the illegals I totally disagree. The only ones I have ever had any contact with did yard work and screwed it up because they didn't understand English! No I didn't hire them they were hired for me by a third party and I did object and companion!

No one is unappreciative of legal immigrants, it's the illegal ones that are ruining it for everyone else. As for the ones that have made this country, I don't think you can point out one person or group.

I think they have done wonderful things. We are all immigrants or come from immigrants. But not illegals.There is a great deal of difference. Legal is the word!!

Arnold Swarzenegger. He was my hero when I was in junior high school 30 years ago. We all lifted weights and wanted to be just like Mr. Universe. Then I got to enjoy his movies and now he's the governor of my home state. He's the greatest example of an immigrant story that I can think of. Go Arnold! Whats next?
