the motor you have is good but if your going to do a swap go with the ls v-tec motor and dont listen to the guy with the k-20 storie it would cost you over 5000 to do a swap like that plus all the mods you probly want to do to it then you will be sitting at around 8000 then you will want to get rid of it as soon as somthing goes wrong with it besides if your going to be spending some money just keep the motor you have should be the d16y8 and boost it for around 2500 and smash a k-series sohc all the way

ok, in case you elect a kseries motor. Then choose for it. Now which ok series engine to apply. right here we flow. K24a4 is out of the recent CRV/accord/component. those are low-priced and abundant you may prolly p.c.. up an prolonged block for under a grand. Now they at the instant are not as powerful by way of fact the k20's yet, they seem to be some distance extra low priced. Now, for my area k20's are performed out. definite they are from the si's and the type-r's yet, the tsx k24a2 is a hell of a motor. 240 hp!. Now, i will tell ya what could be surprising on your ex. a k24a2 with guy or woman throttle bodies, some gentle highway cams, and a skunk 2 exhaust equipment. To make this paintings you elect some hasport mounts, any ok series tranny, i propose the rsx variety-s, ecu from the suitable block ie, k24a4 get the ecu from that engine, new axles, shifter cables, a karcepts shifter field, by way of fact, your inventory one won't paintings. it's time ingesting and that's money ingesting. If money ain't a controversy flow ok-series they are the recent undesirable boy on the streets. so which you at the instant are not constrained to b or d series automobiles. do slightly analyze and come across a great extra healthful for you.
