Do you want to just simplify:

Simplify inner expression first:

==> (-5s^7/t^3)^3 = (-5)^3*s^21/t^9 = -125s^21/ t^9

The answer is sraight forward:
(-10rs^9t^4 / 2rs^2t^7) ^3=
(-5s^7t^-3 ) 3 =
-125 * s^21 * t ^-9 =
-125 * s^21/t^ -9

First of all, can you simplify it? You can take 2rs^2t^4 from both the numerator and denominator.

(-5 s^7 / t^3)^3

Then "carry" the cube into the equation

-5^3 s^(7*3) / t^(3*3)

(-125 s^21) / t^9

Well first, you cry for a little while. Then you wonder when you'll ever use something like this in the real world.

After you get done with feeling sorry for yourself, you set aside the math problem, and do something you enjoy more.

Once that's finished, check your email. Then, talk with your significant other. If you have no significant other, you should feel sorry for yourself again.

Then, once you're done with the second round of feeling sorry for yourself, look at the math problem again.

Feel sorry for yourself again, then put away your homework, and go buy ice cream. Maybe a pint of the lowfat mint chocolate chip expensive kind.

It won't get any better than. The homework will never give you the satisfaction that you'll get from the ice cream.

Share a bite or three of the ice cream with someone who actually likes math - it looks like there are quite a few people that have already told you how to do this. Share a bite of ice cream with one of them.

They'll do your homework for you more often as long as you provide ice cream.

Good luck!

(-10rs^9t^4)
______________
(2rs^2t7)^3

You must remember these rules on exponents

1) x^m * x^n = x^m+n
2) x^m/x^n = x^m-n
3) (x^m)^n = x^mn
