A week or so ago, I got two positive pregnancy tests. My period (so I think it was) started on June 13th. Wasn't heavy, it looked "normal" to me. I called the Dr about the pregnancy tests and the bleeding. Now, I have been spotting. I NEVER spot as much as I have been. I spotted on 19th, 20th and 22nd. I don't usually spot unless I am ovulating or about to start. I "shouldn't" be ovulating for another 5 to 7 days (normally). What could it be? Any suggestions? I will be calling my DR again on Monday.

Yes, you are more then likely pregnant. You should have some implantation bleeding that causes it to look like a period or you can have light spotting. Some people never bleed and I have actually been pregnant twice and had periods for 1-2 months after conception. You could in the worse situation, be having a miscarriage and either way, you should visit a local hospital or doctor asap to make sure you are indeed pregnant and not miscarrying. Also, you can be pregnant and have placenta previa(spelling?) and be bleeding or spotting too. Best bet, see a doctor asap.

You seriously need to change doctors or go back to the same doctor and have him do a complete checkup on you, have him do a regular pregnancy test and a blood work pregnancy test on you to be sure. Every womans different and sometimes you CAN have a negative urine sample but a positve blood one. As for the spotting, some women do have slight forms of a period during pregnancy, i had one the first 4 months of mine. But, it could also be a result of something called placenta previa which i also had. What that means is that the fetus didnt get to completely attach to your uterus wall the way it should, so its in danger of "dettaching" which causes you to spot or bleed; plus put you in danger of loseing the baby and it requires bed rest. I went through it and my son came out fine. And if it turns out your not pregnant , sometimes the different change of the seasons can make our cycles go whacky, or you also could have a tiny cyst pressing on your ovary as well. These are all the causes i know of personally so please go and have a full checkup .

If your blood test came back negative, it's probably because you aren't pregnant. The urine test that you saw the faint positive on probably wasn't a positive but more likely an evaporation line. Did you check the test before 10 minutes or was this line present after that? If your period is late, ask your doctor to perform some other tests to find out why. Good luck!

well honey you can bleed from implanation or many other things. i have been bleeding most of my pregnancy and it stops off and on and then starts back up. after numerous ultra sounds and dr.'s reassurances i was told that everything is fine. so that is what i'm going to tell you. if the bleeding is very heavy like two or three pads in an hour or so than go to the emergency room. other wise stay off your feet as much as possible until the bleeding stops or you see your doctor.best wishes to you and i hope everything works out. try relaxing, even though it is hard, because you don't need stress right now.

Some women do have their period even though they are pregnant. However, this has happened to me and it was the signs of an impending miscarriage. Don't get scared about it though, just wait til you go to the doctor, They are the only ones who can tell you what's going on.
