Sex is just the act of having sex, you don't necessarily love the person. Not to say it still can't be good. Physical attraction and lust can be great. But Making love is having sex with someone you love, it's not just the physical act of sex it's something more special with meaning behind it. Sex is on a whole other level when you love the person. It can be amazing to have fabulous sex with someone you love.

Love is an emotion. Sex is a physical act like shaking hands, although quite a bit more personal than that example. LOL.
Two ( or more ) people who are IN love may have sex and be said to be MAKING love. People who have no emotional attachment to their sex partner are simply having sex. Thats about it in a nutshell, without all the religious, moral and ethical "placard" waving...... although I'm sure you'll hear from them as well.

To me the difference between making love and having sex is when you have sex with a person you don't love it's for the physically satisfaction, there is nothing emotional invoved, and when you make love it's of course with someone you love, and it makes you feel good physically and emotionally. Making love is a way better experience to me than just having sex.

There is really no difference. It's intercourse.

Some people feel that "Love-making" is when you are in love with your partner, where as sex is simply for pleasure or lust.

The meaning varies from person to person.

Sex is usually not very fulfilling. Making love is an initmate, bonding experience. The kind of thing that when you are finished you just hold eachother.

Sex refers to all acts of sex. Making love is just what you call sex when you emotionally bond with your partner through it - you say 'we made love' rather than 'we had sex' when you want to emphasize the bonding rather than the physical act.

to some people there is no difference! to me, Sex is something you do with no commitment behind it (bad), love making is between two people who are commitred to each other and want to share a life together.

Sex is doing it with no emotional attatchments whatsoever. Making love is when you're well, in LOVE, & you have sex as an act of love, not just lust.
