some Chinese men keep the hair. I heard about the saying that it can bring you luck or fortune. Maybe the pain is the real reason. lol.

Hmmm... I've spent about 6 months in China and can't say that I've noticed that. That said, have you ever tried to shave a mole? I've got one and it bleeds like Old Faithful if I cut it. And hurts like hell as well.

I have always heard that you could bleed to death from a mole.
