Points are collinear if they lie on the same line.

1. A = 2 then B = A + AB = 2 + 12 = 14
and C = A + AB + BC = 2 + 12 + 12 = 26

2. the arrangement of the point is L, S, D
a) D = S + SD = 7 + 9 = 16
** L = S - LS = 7 - 5 = 2
b) D = S - SD = 7 - 9 = -2
** L = S + LS = 7 + 5 = 12

B = 2 + 12 = 14

C = 2 or 26. It does not say that the points are distinct. C might be the same point as A.

2a. D:7 + 9 = 16 L:16 - 14 = 2
2b. D:7 - 9 = -2 L:-2 + 14 = 12
