I think it was a great ending.

I didn't think it was even close to being good enough to be called a SERIES finale. It wasn't even good enough for a season finale. The episode was boring, I thought there should be a huge fight scene or something to end it with a bang. I think the writers absolutely failed on this episode.

The final episode was one of their finest, in my opinion. The time dilation was an excellent plot device. It gave viewers a glimpse into one of many possible futures, a game that I often play with characters long after a series or a movie ends. The interaction between Daniel and Valla was particularly rewarding and even made me shed a few tears. But rather than subjecting their loyal audience to one final outcome for the series' end--and killing off a favorite or revealing an incredibly stupid secret as so often happens-- this actually gave the writers some room to breathe. The series may be over, but now we have an appetite for some real surprises when the films are released in 2008.

End? Where was it? There are still too many unanswered questions for this to be the end. Guess next year's 2 90 minute DVD episodes will be addressing the Ori followers and the assended Adria. I guess MGM has figured out how to get a few more $$$ from SG-1.

I did it was a good episode but it was so predictable halfway through it i did expect more since it was the last episode but the movies will be on this fall and will continue it and actually finish it all up so its not over yet.

I was happy with it. It wasn't a big action show, but it focused on what I enjoy the most: the characters. If they had done a two hour finale, this probably wouldn't have worked, but it was perfect for one hour (and a tear-jerker too.)

I thought "Unending" was a weak episode- not worthy of being a season-end, let alone the entire series. It's like the writers just gave up.

The fans deserved better.
