Yes, there is hope that you can still go to college. Step 1: get your GPA up fast anyway possible. First realize that getting an A is high school is not hard, you just have to make an effort. Ask your teachers for extra help after class or one on one tutoring if necessary, I don't know of any good teacher that would turn a student down for trying, also it can't help that a teacher will get to know you and will probably give you the benefit of the doubt if you're on the bubble. If your school has any honor or advance placement classes, take as many as you can, because your grade in these classes will look more impressive and may even count more on the GPA scale than regular classes. Step 2: You have to look impressive in other aspects to offset your not so great GPA. Start joining some school clubs related to academic and/or community service and run or volunteer for the top leadership positions (i.e. president, vice president, etc), take a part time job or volunteer somewhere in which you can learn some useful skills like management, financial responsibility, organization skills, etc. It's all about creating the perception of a smart, hardworking person who just happens to not have a perfect GPA.
Keep in mind that good grades may get your foot in the door at a college, but being a well-rounded person with some work experience and leadership skills will make a bigger difference. Also if the college you apply to requires an essay, start early and make it unique and fantastic, I suggest geting advice from your teachers (English teacher, science teachers, guidance counselor), read writing books at the bookstore/library, proofread it 100 times, etc.

You sure can. You might have to go to a junior college for a year and take some remedial classes and then transfer to the college of your choice but there is no reason that you can not go ahead and get a degree. Have you taken your ACT or SAT yet. The scores you make on them are just as important as your GPA. You can take those test as many times as you want to.

Your grade are looking good and then you have the standardized tests to look forward to, which colleges also weigh, sometimes heavily, depending upon your declared major. Just keep impfroving and it will show that you are progressing well in your studies when it is getting just a bit harder.

Freshman year is tough for everyone. Colleges take that into consideration. Junior and Senior year really matter. Keep working hard, you will be fine.

If you pass high school and took academic level classes, you can go to college somewhere. The better your grades are, the more options you will have.

Most colleges have an "entrance exam". If you pass that, you can get in, regardless of your grades in high school. I didn't do very well in high school but I'm in college now. I took the test, passed it, and they accepted me. I currently have a 3.78 and I graduate in 3 months!!! You can do it!

Nope. If you go to college websites, they will tell you the requirements to get in, which are sometimes surprisingly low. You won't get into Yale, but you can get into somewhere.
