It's probably off of commission.
Be careful and ask questions.

This falls under the category of '' if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is''. Be very careful here. It sounds like they will pay a base salary plus commission after training, but there may be some clause in the contract that will lock you into this job for possibly years. They are not going to pay you that well while you are training for nothing.

This is like an insurance agent or car salesman's with a draw against future commissions. Some may have a tiny actual base salary, but not many. They may pay you in training and guarantee x amount, but you really have to work hard, build referrals and have in a great location, company and advertising (Rooms to Go is a good company) to exist.

If you like a steady paycheck with benefits, you need to go elsewhere.
