I have thrown all of the grease out of the joint and all over the underneath of my truck I bought a quick boot to put on it but it was too small the boot came with more grease so i repacked in the joint my question is is it safe to drive with a busted boot and an exposed joint and besides doing more damage to the axle is there any additional damage that could occur in another part i just bought new tires and would hate to have to replace them or any other part thanks

The CV joint won't last too long running without a boot. A lot of people now will just go ahead and replace the axle instead of just replacing the CV joint alone. It saves on labor. good luck.

you need to fix asap or the cvc joint will start poping and go out wich means you go no where
