If you have any intention of ever selling and publishing any of this material, my advice is DO NOT publish it anywhere on the internet. The internet is a virtual smorgasbord for plagiarists. Also, many of these sites have fine print giving ownership of your work to the website. I found that one out the hard way. Publishers are now automatically rejecting anything that has been posted on the internet. It is just too much of a hassle for them to pay their attorneys to track down the original ownership of the work. They just dont want to run into hassles when suddenly another publishing company comes out with something that is suspiciously similar. The best way to protect your work is just NOT to post it on the internet. I closed my website down a long time ago. I've been plagiarized - Im not looking for it to happen again. Pax - C

The God(ess) of internet writing I found 'round 2004 and have loved it, even through its major update (which helped rather than hindered, but it was hard getting used to.)
You can upload poems and prose in different categories. You may upload as many as you want, but there are unwritten norms that makes everything a lot easier to get feedback.
Some writing sites make it so you can only post a new piece/chapter if you reviewed other peoples' works X amount of times. This site, however, is different. Some people don't review anything but expect to get reviews, all some do is review, but there's a healthy medium of those who do both.
The site appears to make a big deal about rules, but they're very low-key and those who want to post actual works will find no problem with anything. So check it out and perhaps I'll see you there (:

I wholeheartedly agree with Persiphone_. If you ever intend to earn at least part of your living through your creative writing, don't put it out on the internet. If you are seeking broad input, get critiques by joining a local writer's club, usually associated with a library.

If you still want the benefit from writing practice through the internet, I recommend a review site such as Shvoong, where you can hone your writing skills without exposing your best creative ideas.

http://www.gatheringofthef.netfreehost.com !!!

It is my own creative writing forum!

We have gained something like 150 members since February this year, and we will be starting an annual book of poems, and then later one with short stories, that will have work by people from the forum, so that everyone can have a copy of their own work in an actual book!

More details as to that on the forum!

But we have places for you to post your poems, short stories, novels, novellas, and even periodicals... We also have areas for random and/or important discussions...

The advantage of the forum is that most of the people there are writers AND readers, so everyone can post their own works, read the works of others, and receive comments and constructive criticisms on their works...

Hope to see you there!

And good luck!

attempt Figment. i'm on that internet site, and that's an excellent internet site to apply. in case you like your memories examine, ask to alter. the different clientele are very polite, and that's an particularly truthful internet site. you won't be able to reproduction or paste from others memories, so gaurantee your tale won't get copied.

Fictionpress.com and Deviantart.com. Deviantart is a little more user-friendly to me, and you can also post pictures and visual art there.
