There are several versions of the film, the first time i saw it i didn't see the car scene, the second time i watch the directors cut or something like that and there is a car scene, they go speeding and making everyone else crash, and yes the car is kind of futuristic, its called Durango... i dont remember a lipstick scene though. This link shows screencaps of the car

Is there a scene in this movie where a man is putting on red lipstick?
No, there is not. The movie I think your talking about is called Silence of the Lambs.
Are there futuristic looking cars in this movie?
No. I don't remember a futuristic car being vital in this movie.

This was a movie that was made during the early Punk era and mostly influenced by the early 70's Glam era. Yes it was incorporated in the film based on the current underground following and mainly due to the fact that director, Stanley Kubrick was pretty eccentric....but it's a cult classic! and no one can dispute that! There is a directors version thast everyone has not seen, that include those scenes and that's why they deny them, but Stanley did include the Glam style in a futuristic mode and that footage is what you may have seen. Congratulations on seeing the film as Kubrick intentionally meant for it to be!

No, I don't recall any man putting on red lipstick. There is one car scene, but I don't think you really see the car --you just see the gang through the "windshield."
I agree with Bk -- the movie is definitely worth seeing. It makes a lot of interesting comments on "morality" and the decision-making process.

Alex, a violent juvenile in the near future, is caught after a number of brutal rapes and murders. While imprisoned, he submits to a controversial experiment to make criminals ill at the mildest suggestion of violence or conflict. Now Alex's victims want to welcome him back into society with the same enthusiasm Alex had always exhibited when performing his crimes.
I wish Rob Zombie would do a remake. That would be awesome.
