My friend is straight but wants to know how to talk to straight girls without offending them.

Your kidding right we are people as well. You open your mouth and you speak, its called a conversation. We straight people are the one's with problems.

If your bi-sexual friend is male and wants to date a female, I imagine the easiest way would be for him not to mention he is bi until he knows her mind on the topic. I'm not sure if by your question you mean something different. You might get a better response by rewording it and trying again.

first, straight people are straight because they are not gay or bi, so as a bi, I would not even consider "getting at" a straight person. that in itself would be offensive.

your friend is straight, "but"? wants to know how to talk to straight girls? uh pardon me? tell him to talk to them like they were his mother.
