Love is attraction, and everything on earth and in the universe exists because of love or attraction.
Even a rock, as mentioned by someone here, exists, because of the attraction of it's particles between them.
If there was no attraction all things would disintegrate.
This explains the need for love in our human society and love between the members of the human race.
Lack of it will lead us to self destruction and disintegration.

hmm... you mean alive things right? not TVs or cars or books right? well, I... partly agree... but some are accidental. There are babies born because someone raped them, and I'm not so sure if animals have children out of love... it just comes to their instinct. I think... everything exists because humans and animals have done things to make it so. =)
