Considering Nihilism and/or Pragmatism. I read this statement in a book ("Arts of Living" by Kurt Spellmeyer).

I would not so consider it. Don't believe everything that you read. However, introspection alone, without consideration of evidence from the real world, will not get you very far.

I do not believe true introspection to be a myth, but the exact opposite--relative truth. Introspection in its purest sense is a form of selfishness, and for the longest of times to be persecuted for doing such was commonstance. And to a point, introspection can be dangerous. Yet at the same time it can be a beautiful experience. But to be considered a myth--only if a person is untrue, which contradicts the meaning of introspection--would be wrong in concept...

Oh, boy...
I guess that it's similar to 'ghosts' and 'orgasms', so many people swear they don't exist, because they haven't had the experience ever in their lives...
