I believe it has already been done,back in the fifties by some engineer,and a prototype was built and actually did fly.But I don't recall the FULL details other than the idea was cost prohibitive and dangerous.

There is already a " flying car" it just hasn't been put on the market I believe the person who invented it lives in Washington state I have heard him on a popular radio show called coast to coast am you can go to their website coasttocoastam.com and check in past shows you may find it or email the host and ask him

As others have said, it has been done. There were some problems, the plane wasn't that good as plane, the car wasn't that good as a car. Then there was the FAA, there were some hassles with them, and industry didn't think they would sell. So they never went into production. good luck.

They've talking about it since the 1950's. As much as I would like it, it seems that most drivers have a problem in two dimensions, let alone three.

yeah they will...they already have made things that levitate so im sure they will have a flying car...dont know if you'll be around to see it it will be here...
