Of course. I nearly always do. The exception has been when the temperature is 98D, and the penny is hot from lying in the sun on asphalt. I'm sure I'll have other opportunities.

No I would keep it - sounds greedy but when my dad passed away he said he would leave pennies around for me to find so I would always remember him - so I would want to remember
