White bread that's been lightly toasted. Really lightly.

Then you apply the peanut butter to both sides of the bread. Add jelly as needed.
Then, cut the sandwich diagonally.
Remove crust if desired. Roll crust into little bite-sized spheres and eat (Optional).

Do not forget large glass of chocolate milk.

If you really have to put peanut butter with jelly I guess you would want thickly sliced fresh white bread.

Plain old peanut butter on thick fresh white bread is the nicest though.

What is jelly? In NZ we eat it as a dessert so cant quite imagine it on bread with peanut butter!!!

Toasted bread, doesn't matter if it is white or whole wheat! Smear the peanut butter while the toast is still hot, there is almost nothing as sublime!
