Both, the FDA is run by doctors and pharmaceutical firms so you can't always trust a medicine is good for you - they spend money on advertising, etc. Some commericals for medicines make me rather have the illness than deal with all the side effects! : )
Some natural herbs work well for some things but not for all. BTW watermelon helps a sore throat!

Yes, pregnant women have died from Swine Flu. If you look at the swine flu information websites pregnant women are among the first of those with priority in getting the vaccination. I will be getting the swine flu vaccination and so will my 1 year old son. My best friend's husband recently had swine flu and she said that he was deathly sick. I know vaccinations aren't always a good thing, but I'd rather chance the side effects of the vaccination than catching this bug. It really sounds like a bad one.

It depends on what you are ailing from and how well the FDA approved medicines are working. I recently tried chiropractic and accupunture to help with chronic headaches. It really helped and its great not having to take drugs every day.

My boyfriend thinks I'm a hippy cause I don't take medicine. The only time I tiake it is if the doctor has prescribed an antibiotic. I do just fine without all that junk.
