Well, any job should at least be given a week...give it a chance...not many people are lucky enough to have jobs that are fun and exciting for them. You must give some specifics though....what exactly do you hate about it?....other than the time dragging by...that will happen in a lot of jobs, no matter where you go.

If it's that unbearable, you may want to quit now. It's really up to you. I understand how you feel, I hate my new job too.
I was at my last company for years when they closed my office. I had no trouble finding another job in fact this is my second job after the lay off.
The first was horrible from day 1. I left after two months. I started this job right away. It's been 4 months and now I wish I just hadn't gone back after the first week. I'm trying to stay for 6 months but it's agony.
I've learned one in thing in my travels, life is too short to be miserable. If this doesn't get any better, I'm out of there. I'll temp.

Suck it up we all hate our jobs. You are only working 3 days a week so tough it out. Quitting will set a bad habit in motion for you.

Well unfortunately you are in a bad situation. Best thing to do is tough it out - quitting now will just set a bad habit for you.. what if you hate your next job too? Then you will have failed TWO jobs. Just make yourself endure it and try to find ways to make it enjoyable.
good luck, i've been there!

normally i would say stick it out for a bit longer but if it really makes you feel sick just driving by the place- quite. life is too short.
maybe you can get out and apply for something new and line up some interviews first and then leave

Oh dear, I know how it feels.
But I'd say maybe you need to find something good about your new job. Try to write down all pros and cons you can think of about this job, and if there's really no point in staying there - leave it.
But please think twice. You know, there are so many people who can't find job at all.
I hope you find something you really like, or that you'll start liking your new job :)
Blessings.

It is. There are several factors preventing someone from finding a job they love. A lot of times they are stuck with a job they hate. Here are some factors (there are more I'm too lazy to list): - Bad luck - Unable to attend college - Unable to find a good major - Not trying hard enough to find that job you love - Life forces you to just find a job IMMEDIATELY - Parents forced you into the wrong job - Bad life decisions (for example, getting your 16 year old girlfriend pregnant when your 16 years old) I'm fortunate enough to have found the well-paying job that I love. I'm also thankful that the job I love is in high demand for years to come. I still am uncontrollably mad at myself for not partying enough in college. But I know several people who have had one or more of those reasons I listed above for being stuck with a bad job.

Suck it up and do your job, or quit and get another job. Simple as that.
