We tried the Ohana, but it is sadly all booked up. Does anyone know a nice family fun resturant in Disney World, where we can celebrate a birthday, during the evening.

We are leaving next Sunday, and we were planning to celebrate his birthday on that following Saturday.

Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun, especially on birthdays, it is an experience you will never forget.

Kona is another great restaurant in Polynesian.

Hoop de Doo and the Luau are also a lot of fun, but being so close it would probably be really hard to get reservations.

These are a few suggestions, if you need some other ideas, just let me know.

If you aren't able to get a reservation before you go, or you were wanting something else, try calling when you get a little closer. Especially with restuarants that require a credit card to hold, a lot of people will cancel like 24 hours ahead of time. So, it is always worth a shot to see if there are any cancellations. Being this close it can be hard to get reservations at the better restaurants.

Have a great time!

Call 407-WDISNEY and see if you can make reservations at Chef Mickey's. It's located inside the Contemporary Resort, within the Magic Kingdom. It's a buffet style restaurant with surprisingly good food, and many of the Disney characters roam around signing autographs and taking pictures. I've been there twice and have seen birthday parties going on both times. If you can time it right, there is a bar at the top of the hotel that has a walkout with a perfect view of Cinderella's Castle and the fireworks!

I hope you have a great time!

I would highly reccomend the sci-fi cafe. Its really fun, but very casual so i don't know if thats what you want, but you sit in cars and watch movies on a HUGE screen, like at a drive in, and you can get glow in the dark ice cubes for your drinks, and police can pull you over. this is in MGM. I would also reccomend hollywood and vine or 1900 park fare if you want a buffet. These are the 2 best ones. Rainforest cafe in Animal Kingdom is also nice. >>good luck, i am going soon too, for my 8th time!!<<

At this late date it will be difficult, I would call 1-407- W- Disney and have them tell you what is available for your party size. I do not know his age, and since you tried Ohana it does not give his age away.

Call Fulton's. Fancy, yet festive...and amazing seafood and steaks.

They're the restaurant shaped like a cruise-liner, called Fulton's Crab House. Beware, a reservation is required, and you'll STILL have to wait a while for your table!

Cheers!

2 thumbs down...ok.....you don't trust a fat guy? Is that, is that the vibe I'm getting here, or........hmmm........yeah i don't know.
