Why am I perceived as anti-Hispanic when I question illegal aliens?

Question

I am concerned that our borders are not properly secured. I am not anti-Hispanic or any other nationality that comes to the US legally. Why are folks hostile if this serious issue is challenged? I want to be clear...I don't blame the people (Mexicans, Canadians, Russians etc...) I question and find fault with the policy makers and the corporations that hire illegal aliens. I have a problem with folks who enter this country illegally. It is wrong and against the law.
I want someone to answer me by taking out the emotion and tell me what is racist or ignorant about my concern?? My loyalty is with my country, the US, first and always. I try to not mistreat anyone because they are different from me.

It is a serious issue and being concerned about the security of the country does not make you a racist. You don't even have to mention a country,as soon as you say "illegal" they call you a racist because they assume you are referring to those who come here from south of the border. Those that can't see the seriousness of an unsecured border will be shocked when they find themselves living in a country they no longer recognize and wonder what happened. This issue is not,and never has been about people from one certain country. It is about the safety and security of our country for our children and grandchildren.

Absolutely nothing is wrong with your point of view. I completely agree with you personally, there are so many poeple that are having a hard time enough getting into this country legally but we are so suspicious because of all the people that enter illegally.
Its been told to people since the beginning of time, a lot more would get done and we would all be happier if people just listened to the law, for the love of god. We need to secure our borders and get the illegal aliens out of this country ASAP. Don't pay attention to people who call you racist, you're a patriot who worries about illegal immigration, those people just feel like they're not getting the attention they deserve, so they feel like telling people it offends them, its the same way with the words Under god in the pledge.

This is a great question. The answer is the extreme left want votes, want government to provide all solutions at our expense and cannot argue the issue so they just call people racist. The thing that is so funny about people who are for illegal immigration is they are for breaking the law. Maybe we should forget enforcing other laws and give amnesty to bank robbers.

You are not really perceived as a racist. They just are calling you that to try to marginalize your opinions. It is something liberals do all the time.

Old school conservatives like me consider being called names by liberals a badge of honor. It is like being the best batter on the Yankees and comming up to bat with the bases loaded in Boston's Fenway Park. You will hear an awful lot of booing. Boos at an away game are like cheers at home.

i'm am American and that i help the Hispanics. My little ones are 0.5 Mexican. i desire that they don't look to be met with the comparable prejudice because of fact the Hispanics are those days. anybody is very naive approximately what the Hispanics do for us. They build our residences, take of our young ones, sparkling our residences . and that they do it greater helpful. The they get the activity executed. they don't circulate out spend their not effortless earned money on stupid issues like maximum persons individuals do. So, If any of you individuals can do what the Hispanics can do. Then give up hiring the Hispanics to do your grimy jobs and do it your-self!!!!!

it really is not a concern about race as much as it is about...culture and language.

If they spoke the language and were not so arrogant as to insist that everybody else speak the language it would not be such a big deal.

Think about it, only Spanish people expect someone in an office to speak Spanish...

No German person has ever asked for someone who speaks German

No Chinese person has ever asked if there is someone here who speaks Chinese

No French person has ever asked if there is someone in the office who speaks French...
