When "The Grand Illusion" came out in the late 70's they were very cool for a while...but by the time "Pieces of Eight" was released there were too many other cool bands, like Van Halen, to consider Styx a cool band...

Yes, when they were actually 'STYX and not the posers they are today. They ruled in the late 70;s and early 80's
But, without Dennis De Young and the late John Panozzo, it's futile to even acknowledge them as 'STYX
