Yes, especially when you don't have a supportive partner or any real friends to count on.

If you ever need to talk, you have a whole family here on Yahoo that will understand you.

For some women. It doesn't mean that you weren't happy about being pregnant either. I was ecstatic when my husband and I finally got pregnant, then in about my 6th month I got so depressed and for what reason, I have no idea. Talk to your doctor about it, especially if you are as bad as I was and sitting in the bathroom thinking about killing yourself. I hope you feel better. I'm sure you will, just make sure you talk to your doctor.

It's normal to get down every once in a while or have a good cry. I do it at least once a week. There are lots of changes going on...physical, hormonal, emotional...your whiole life is being rearranged! But if it lasts longer than a week or involves thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else, tell your doctor.

Your hormones are all out of whack. You will be happy, depressed, crying, laughing, and sometimes all within 5 minutes. If you are only depressed all the time, talk to your doctor.
