yeah so today was the last day of school and there were mexicans and black people from my school fighting with eachother.. it was over an ipod nano but they have beef with eachother in the past for some reason i dont know.. and ive also seen like other stuff where black and mexicans fight with eachother (bloods, surenos) and i just wanna know why black and mexicans beef with eachother for? like when did it first start and who started it and why??

I heard that blacks don't like Hispanics because they're a 'competing minority' (i.e. competing for money from programs to benefit minorities). Then again, the Hispanics are not just one group. Where I'm from the Hispanics from south America don't like those from the Caribbean countries on the grounds that they are partyers and not serious about life. Perhaps you should watch the movie 'Freedom Writers' which does a better job of explaining this than I have done, or any of the others who have answered so far.

depends on where you live, and whats going on. In my high school it was the whites and Mexicans. I think it has more to do with raging adolescence hormones then race.

yeah i know what you mean -- most really dont like each other. i guess every group hates another group. its stupid. it's like that everywhere. swedes don't like yugos, belgians don't like turks, or whatever, it goes on and on.
