No, Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. Hispanics are classified as white by the US Census. I would add Native American to your list, even though they share many genetic traits with Asian/Pacific Islanders.

No Hispanic is not a race, it's an ethnicity. But the U.S classifies us as a race so that's why many people think Hispanic is a race. Some people are really surprised to find out that Hispanics come in all colors.

Hispanic is not a race.
Hispanics are in the white race, but a few decades ago, the white racists in authority decided that they needed to seperate themselves to be called white and eveyone else is a minority.
Silly but true.
The Blacks who call themselves Hispanic are not Hispanic, but Black because they have African blood in them. The Spaniards had African slaves and apparently mixed with them and thus came a black man who is name Rodriguez, Cruz, Gomez, etc.
You can identify a person simply by his appearance.
Hispanics are 40% Semitic, 50% Western European and the rest is Native American.
DNA proved this.

No it's not a race, as when Latinos are born in their respective countries there is a section on the birth certificate for "race", the answer can be white, black, mestizo (Spaniard/indigenous), mulato (Spaniard/black), or indigenous (native); these five answers represent the races.

That's another way of looking at it... When I come to think about it, yeah, I think it's a great way of looking at it! Makes things simple. But people are still going to say that Hispanic is as much of a race as Asian is.
