Isaiah Washington who was recently let go of Grey's Anatomy, is now considering, a lawsuit. He claims, it should have been, T.R. Knight. That Knight, used the controversy, to beef up his part and for an increase, in pay. He goes on to say to the Houston Chronicle, that he apologized, did everything he could, to make it right and still, was fired. Now, he is considering, a lawsuit. What do you think, and for those of you who do not know, he called his costar directly or indirectly, a ******? Soon after, he was fired. Was ABC, justified?

Yes they were justified. Washington is scrambling to save his career and doing what he seems to do best, trying to save his arrogant butt by belittling T.R. Knight. Preston Burke was a good role for Washington. Too bad he was not stable enough to keep it. If you do a little research on Washington this is not the first show where he has caused on set problems. T.R knight is twice the person Washington will ever be. If Washington's career takes a serious hit....good. He earned it! He started off On Grey's with an attitude because he wanted the part of Mc Dreamy. (a fact he brought up himself in an interview before the Knight incident) And remember he also assaulted a cast member by grabbing them by the throat.......that's more than an insult. He is out of control. He has issues and possibly mental problems. And he's a prick.

I was undecided until a read the quotes Isaiah made to the Associated Press.
I agree that he apologized. Okay, that was great of him. Then he turns around and says it again at the Globes. I was amazed. I am like, all right already. When is enough enough Isaiah?
Do I agree that he should have been fired, no, I liked his role and him playing it. He was part of the show and was good at it.
I don't agree that he should now turn it into a racist thing though. I get tired of hearing that wheel turn.
I don't care if their gay or whatever. I just liked the show and am not sure how it is going to do this year now...
I also think there is more there than what we all know because the whole cast got real quiet when they were all asked about the blow-up with Dempsey and Washington...
We will see I guess..

He choked a coworker, used offensive language and then was surprised when his contract wasn't renewed. Puleeze. Getting a part on a show is NOT a lifetime commitment. ABC waited for his contract to expire, thereby saving a lot of money by not having to fight it in the courts.
Now, he's acting like a big baby. Grow up. He's an idiot and the more he flaps his gums, the more obvious the man has some serious 'issues'.

Whether he did everything right seems to be a matter of opinion, Mr. Washington may want to add the sponsors of the show to the lawsuit, I'm guessing they weren't to thrilled with being part of a show with such problems attached to it. If ABC can't make money they have the right to fix the problem

No I really dont think ABC was justified in firing him.
1) He apologized people! This does not condone his actions but if every actor got fired for when they called someone a derogatory name we would have no actors
2) He went through and did everything that was asked of him. He did this because he wanted to stay on the show, and publicly made a statement
3) Theres a large possibility that T.R. Knight did overplay this. People love to do that, say it OFFENDs them when it is ridiculous and make a bigger deal out of it then it has to be. He went through what he needed to go through, and yet he still got fired.
4) Greys Anatomy will lose a lot of viewers because a lot of people loved the character Dr. Burke, and I personally am not happy with the network for firing one of my favorite characters on the show.
Im personally in full support of Isiah Washington whatever he decides to do.

It wasn't a onetime deal with him ... he has anger-management issues. What he is doing is welding the door short! He won't get another gig like Grey's Anatomy ever again. If T.R. Knight had called him a racially-motivated ephitet he would have been fired also. Y'all know the religious bigot Sharpton would be on the first flight to Hollywood screaming foul.
He is getting what he deserves.

He's obviously a big mouth that doesn't know when to quit. He had a contract. He was a pain in the rear. The contract ended. They said goodbye. If he wants to get another job, he should quit whining and move on.

.Washington is lucky they let him stay as long as they did. obviously if they thought he had actually become less of a problem they would have kept him. Because, Preston Burke and Christina was cool storyline. But, I think they could see he was a person who would keep being a problem. He wasn't an asset to the show 'backstage' he was a difficult person. Publicly he was impulsive an an embarrassment to himself and others. As he continues to show by his recent actions. He is also a guy that holds himself unaccountable. he did what he was "required" of him.......so he says. but his heart and mind weren't in it.

I think they did jump the gun and no one ever calls others out on their use like that. Although, I wonder if they were just looking for something since it sounded like there was a fair bit of scuffles on set and bickering. I actually thought he was being used as the poster boy and supported him after he apologised until he blamed it ALL on racism. Too bad!

People love to sue America because they get away with it and win. It really doesn't matter if they are right or wrong, all they have to do is sue. I wish I had a dollar for every frivolous lawsuit.
