Most likely not. The UC system, as we all know, is very tough, and does not give much leeway for failure, even if it's just in one class. Scores must be high all around and you must be a person that they could see as being beneficial to the school. So, other than the grades aspect of admittance into a UC school, you will have to undergo rigorous interviews and such. Don't give up, though, and I hope that you will get into a UC. Prove the system wrong!

Hope this helps and good luck in all you do! ;-)

Can you retake Algebra 2 in summer school? My guess is that if this is the only class you have done poorly in, it won't kill you, but it all depends upon the rest of your grades, your SAT score, and your extracurricular activities.

Yes. Ideally, you would have retaken this course in summer school with a tutor. You still have time to do so in the fall. The second time you take it, that grade will be computed into your GPA, so it is important to do well.

Best wishes.

yes a 'c'is a pasing grade. It might be required that you pass all in the UC with a C but a d before there is a passing grade and you should challenge it if a problem arises.
