Until I looked at the drawings, I thought maybe you had something suggestive. What you have is benign art and not one person in twenty is going to give it a second thought.

Mainly, nude paintings are art. They capture the true beauty of the human form. However, some paintings depicting "other things" may not be appropriate, especially in museums that have children on field trips attending.

I currently collect graphic art. I love it but display it where if someone came into my house they wouldn't be shocked. We live in a community where there are a lot of very conservative people. My art is mostly in book form. I began to collect it a few years ago. My hubby loves it but agrees that it should be kept private for us. It isn't something that is shared by many here. I suppose it depends on the maturity level of the guy. Good Luck.

This depends on the type of art. If it does have a pornographic edge to the art work, then this could get him thinking. But if it is tasteful nude art then there is no need to worry. Some of the new art we see are to me very offencive, like the painting Piss Christ.

porno. i'm just not into the nude human body, people get off on just staring at different positions, honestly what do you check out, when you see it, thank you. that would be the t.i.t.s, the a.s.s., the pubic area. nothing else, i'd rather look at real art. anyone can take a picture of nude, no biggie. it's challenging to draw or take a picture of a real moment in time, in war time especially, raising the flag, the human spirit can say a whole hell of a lot of things and emotions, than a chick or dude just naked. how boring, i would never stoop so low as to say, it is art. IT IS NOT ART. it's some chick flickin a t.i.t. or dude, with a limp one. how boring. show me the pyramids a giza, and i have so many emotions, how did they get there? what it must have took to build them? show me a whale in the ocean with its young, that's life, that's real beauty...........................

Art. Because the body is a a complex thing , with curves etc.. lol

Some people might think its art but some people might make that as an excuse to look at it. So some people take advange of the word "Art"

You write that you have a lot of famous art repros. Are an inordinate amount of them nudes? If the ratio is right then to Hell with what he thinks. If you have an overwhelming amount of nudity, question yourself and your reasons why they're there. I wouldn't worry though because no means no if he tries anything and most guys enjoy looking at nudes.

Works both ways. If he has some basic knowledge in arts, he would not be too inquisitive. On the other hand, if all the arts you have are nude paintings and you can't talk intellectually about them, then you don't look too good yourself.

depends on his ideology. I think it can be art in some forms, though only of both genders (if possibly, ie if it shows both male and female) are protrayed in an equillibrium where they are equal.

Theres a difference between pornography and eroticism, and I think that eroticism can be art, while porn is like drugs. Be warned though, theres some bible thumping conservitave tightwads that argue with me till I literally walk away on this very topic.

It depends on him. if hes a ver open minded caring person that doesnt jump to conclusions, odds are he thinks its art. also, his opinion of body art itself is a major indicator here. if he thinks thats art, 90% chance he will think erotic paintings are art. if not, well then youre looking at inverse statistics there.
