To not hurt someone's feelings by saying what you really think about it. I do that with cake. I hate it, but I'll act like I don't if someone bakes one.

Why would you do that? To impress someone else? To spare someone else's feelings? The most important thing we can do is be to honest and true to ourselves, that way we do not need to try to be someone we are not. It is not necessary to be someone you are not. You are a wonderful human being no matter what you do, say or think.
Be true to you.
Acting, is a lie, mostly to yourself, in this regard.
