There are a few viruses for Macs, unlike what the guy above me stated. Though they are almost nothing in comparisson to Windows.

Well, Macs are more stylish, and PCs are cheaper. There's competition with manufacturers for PCs, for Macs, it's just Apple.

A lot of it boils down to the old "simplicity vs flexibility" rule. I life, the simpler things are, usually the less flexible they are. If you want something simple and easy to use and don't want to do a lot of tinkering around with it, get a Mac. If you like upgrading graphics cards every now and then, inserting and taking out different components for different functions (video capture card, special boards for special features, adding memory, etc.), then stick with Windows machines. Not that MACs can't do all of that - they can. It's just that they cost more and there is less out there to pick from to upgrade and WAY fewer people who can help you when you need it. No offense, but if you were the kind of guy who did all the tinkering I'm talking about, you probably wouldn't ask this question in the first place. So, if you have the money, buy a Mac.

i've got had the two a computing gadget Mac and a Macbook, yet i've got only long previous back to a computing gadget pc. it rather is not that no longer person-friendly to enhance the Mac hardware - maximum of it rather is plug and play. I even controlled to characteristic (internally) an further 60GB reminiscence to my computing gadget - it wasn''t too no longer person-friendly. initally, I enjoyed that each little thing grow to be integrated - my iPod, my image application, even my contacts. It grow to be while issues began to flow incorrect that i stumbled on the obstacles of a Mac the reason I have been given uninterested with my Macbook grow to be the subject concerns I encountered. First, i mandatory to purchase Microsoft place of work - the version I already owned grow to be the computing gadget version and so wasn't properly suited. Then, after 6 months, the white plastic case cracked - curiously it relatively is particularly undemanding. The DVD 'Superdrive' inexplicably stopped after some greater months. i offered an exterior DVDpersistent, yet that not at all worked correct with iTunes or the DVD participant application on the Mac. In frustration, i've got long previous back to a computing gadget. i've got stumbled on the different undertaking of the Mac - on an analogous time because it grow to be (relatively) person-friendly to get all my data onto it interior the 1st place, it rather is rattling close to impossible to get them off. The backup discs I created won't be able to be examine on a computing gadget, and so i'm caught shifting each little thing making use of USB sticks. the better area approximately changing my Mac with a computing gadget pc is the value - I paid $2200 for my Macbook, and my computing gadget pc value only $six hundred. Screw you, Steve Jobs.
