i went to the store today to get more flake food...and i saw bloodworms and baby shrimp as well...so i bought a container of both. the guppies seemed to love the bloodworms...but the baby shrimp may be too big? will they eat it? they keep picking at it but i dont see a whole shrimp being consumed. is it just too big for them or will it just take longer for them to eat it?

If you mean freeze dried shrimp, those will probably be too hard and too large for the guppies to eat. Brine shrimp however is another story, your guppies will love those.

I feed my Guppies freeze-dried plankton, and they go nuts for it.
If the shrimp are a little less than half the size of the fish or larger, they may be to large.
If so, Just "squish" or cut them in half. Dont worry, they die instantly. They'll never feel a thing.
Only show them one thing at once. One day blood worms, one day shrimp. If they are freez-dried, crumble the shrimp up.

Are the shrimp alive? If they are, then they will not eat them. If it's freeze-dried shrimp, then yes they will eat it. If it seems too big to fit into their mouths, then crumble it up into tiny pieces with your hands.

I feed my guppies brine shrimp. Don't give them too much, they can eat it its just big so that makes it difficult.
