Hey, Im 31, and I still get up for my fix of saturday toons. "The Batman" is my fav., even though they are re-runs. I also enjoy the new "Stormhawks" toon. "Dragon booster" (needs more episodes). C'mon humans, where is the love???

The animation is the sole area of The Batman it is even near to nicely accomplished, and the animation in Batman TAS is plenty extra effective. The Batman has fairly infantile plots, and that all of them flow some thing like this: a villain shows up on the city. there's a combat and Batman gets overwhelmed via the villain early on. Then he does 2 issues that are the two thoroughly glaring or absurdly non-sequitorish to come to a decision what the undesirable guy's deal is. and then there is yet another combat on the top and Batman wins. Silliness. stick to the lively series. ..And Slappy's suggestion to objective Justice League is a competent one, too.

When The Batman first appeared, I thought it was decent but it quickly turned me off when they started changing a lot of things. He got too futuristic and almost superhuman for me as opposed to the Timm-verse Batman (voiced by the one and only Kevin Conroy) where it was down to earth. I didn't watch the The Batman's first 3 seasons but when season 4 introduced Robin, it got me hooked. Suddenly he was more interesting, the characters were getting rounded out and even the design was different for Batman. (His chin was squared off making him more mature) I like where season 5 is heading with the appearance of the Justice League.

The Batman sucks! I used to watch Batman every weekday (even as an adult) and it was 10x better than this new generic version. I also loved Batman Beyond, that was really a great cartoon. The way they carried it past the original as a sort of 'sequel' was ingenious. It made sense. This new one doesn't. Plus, after watching it once and hearing him refer to himself in a sentence as "the batman" really turned me off, all I could think of was "The George is getting angry!" (Seinfeld)

I would much rather watch the Dini/Timm Batman cartoon series than this new badly-drawn show.

FoxKids saturdays is pretty awesome.
Almost as awesome as BOOMERANG & Cartoon Network.
