A minority interest ( I think 6 or 7%) is owned by an Arab
business man and I believe that Murdoch is Australian
and his family owns 29% of the total shares, most of which
are voting shares, John Malone of Connecticut owns 32%
but only about half are voting shares.
Republicans are interested in getting truthful answers, not
BS from ABC, CBS, NBC and certainly not the Communist
News Network.
I think that by listening to an American owned station that
all you will get is their politically biased views, where as
with Fox you get a more real WORLD view.
Thanks for the thumbs down, proves that I am right

FOX is owned by Rupert (New World Order) Murdoch.
AFAIK it is illegal for a non- US citizen to own aTV Station in the US which seems to be the only reason Murdoch is a US citizen.
He is attributed with getting and keeping Margret Thatcher in power in Britain and holds a considerable sway over public opinion there due to his press holdings. e.g the tabloid "SUN","The Times", "The Sunday Times" etc
good article in the "left-leaning " Guardian from 2003 which points out:
"Rupert Murdoch argued strongly for a war with Iraq in an interview this week. Which might explain why his 175 editors around the world are backing it too,.."
rmagedon great research.

Dude, in case you do unlike Fox information, do no longer watch it. All this Democratic whining approximately Fox information is getting relatively pathetic. Its embarrassing that the President of the U. S. surely participates in this nonsense. Are you like 10 years previous? develop up.

Actually it is owned by Rupert Murdoch. He was born and raised in Australia, but now he is a naturalized American citizen. So, yes it is owned by an American, just not one who was born in America.

Not stupid, good question, respectfully done. You'll get a lot of rumor-mongering answers by people that confuse nonsense with something people can respect. Same sort of nonsense as you'd get if the subject were CNN.
Keep asking. I don't know. I'll see if someone has enough self-respect not to make something up and actually check.
Wow, just checked the answers! Four sane people!
Keep speaking up, folks! We're getting better!
Followed by two totally lost rumor mongers. Couldn't last, could it.

Rupert Murdock owns half of Wall Street practically. You think his money has anything to do with Fox news reporting whatever they like. I don't trust any organization that has their fingers in that many pies.
