DVD player or VHS? Do you have a sound system better than the speakers on your TV?

I just checked our DVD/VHS combo player. In the VHS side, there is Barney's Scentsational Day and on the DVD side is The Fantastic Four (cartoon). Right now our sound system consists of a no-name boom box (to call it a "boom" anything is completely laughable) that I got from Wal-Mart recently because there is no room for our entertainment/stereo system in the tiny rental house that we have. Sorry for the rambling. In other words, no, my stereo system is NOT better than the speakers on my TV.

Nothing in my dvd player. My home theater sound system is way better than our tv speakers!

DVD player is empty ... I always put stuff away.
Yes, I've hooked it up to a 200 CD player & Cerwin Vega's.
I used to have a "Bose" system, but it was a piece of junk, and after 7 visits from the Bose repair dude ... well, it became clear the system would never work.

I don't think I have anything in either, but soon the first season of Kyle XY will be in the DVD player. I need to finish watching it to refresh my memory then catch up on this season. And sadly, no I don't have a nice sound system, just on my stereo.

I have a great sound system! Right now my DVD player has Green Day's Bullet in a Bible playing.

I have a 5 disc DVD player. I have Borat,a slide show my friend made,Norbit,a DVD of my mom's,and 2 other that i am not sure of. As for my VHS player..I think it's got tie-bo in it from like..the 90's.

We have a music CD called the Doctrine and Covenants. It's religious music. We have a lot of classical, religious, Celtic Woman, Michael Buble easy listening stuff. We also have a lot of religious videos made by a company called the Living Scriptures. They make animated videos about stories in the bible and also American Heroes. The music is great and so are the stories.

the dvd is jackass2. dear lord i didn't think it would be *that* crude. but yeah the dvd player/surround sound is better than the tv speakers. if not it would be severely disappointing
