theres a bunch of crafts you can do, before you just jump into anything think of these few things first, whats the age group that mainly goes to the salon also go down one day when she's working and just sit and make notes of what people are wearing and then think of what you can do, dont be afried to try new crafts you never know till you try it if you can do it and if people will buy them, oh and dont over charge but also dont short yourself either take in to consideration how much your spending to get the supplys you need to make what ever you make... hope that helped and good luck just remember there are tons of crafts out there that people will buy. :)

at a beuty salon, definately make jewelry. i'm 12 years old and i have made over $800 dollars selling only jewelry. do some thorough research on the internet or magazines before you buy anything. Buy beads at http://www.firemountaingems.com and if it has an error loading, refresh and itll load properly. Jewelry is a great business. Stringing simple things is find but people will pay more and buy more intricate things such as woven seed beads. Teens mostly buy simple, bright colors and older women will buy things such as pearl necklaces, usually 18 or 16 inches long. Maybe jewelry making. Get some beads and string and go to town! If all else fails and it doesn;t sell, keep it for yourself.
