It sure sounds like early baby movements to me. It feels a lot like little bubbles or flutters or popping and is more frequent when you're lying down.
I felt baby movements beginning at about 15 or 16 weeks and it felt like little bubbles bursting.
Your little one is obviously very active!

Im at 35 wks, but felt movement as early as 14wks. My baby moves a lot at night as well. I could never liken fetal movement to butterflies or bubbles, but the bigger she grows, the more it feels like a muscle spasm. If you eat and lay down afterward, or when you are at rest, the fetus will move more. I'm positive that the sensation you are experiencing is your baby's gymnastics. Just wait til he or she gets hiccups!

It could be it.... most movements can be detected early as 16 wks or late as 24 wks... so it depends on the first time mothers. It is average that the movements can be clearly detected around 20-21 wks. More like a "flutter" sensations.....
Later in months, movements will be more pronounce and you'll be able to feel the baby's hiccups!!
Good luck!

Alot of women say they can feel their baby moving most when they are lying down; especially flat on their back. The farther along you become, the more pressure is being exerted on your uterus when you lie down. Lying on your back isn't good because your uterus is now laying on blood vessels and arteries that can slow down circulation and oxygen supply for you and your baby. If it's something you are still very concerned about, I'd call your doctor. Good luck!

Sounds like it. It’s a cool feeling when you feel them move. Wait until you get further along and you can see the baby move. :)
