You might have what's called Pupp Rash. It's a condition that develops in the last month of pregnancy and causes itchy skin and sometimes a rash.

Treatment involves cortisone creams, but occasionally nivea or vana cream works. You may need to be treated with oral steroids if the itching becomes intense.

Or you could try shea butter/cocoa butter to sooth it.

Congrats on your pregnancy!

a book can't cure eczema.
info in the book might help you but that info is probably found elsewhere.

best advice: look to testimonials from others that have your same condition, see what works and doesn't work. Share knowledge.

What worked for our child, and in a big way, was a British made product, Salcura Dermaspray Gentle. it's now available from a USA distributor.. or get it over the counter at a British Chemist . There's some people with hand eczema that cleared up after using salcura. Look for the testimonials on line.

PLEASE READ THIS IS IMPORTANT

This answer is also for those answering this question that are also itching with out a rash. The only rash like symptom you may have is whrere you have scracthed so much that you make your skin bleed.
IT IS NOT AS RARE AS PEOPLE THINK

I answer any questions to do with a itch during pregnancy especially in the 3rd trimester because it is important for ladies to know what risk there is to your baby.

Please visit and READ Information at

www.itchymoms.com
or
Search the web for Cholestasis of Pregnancy

Itching can be more dangerous than you think during pregnancy.
I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE...........

I don't want to scare you with this information but it is very important as not all doctors a familiar with Obstetric Cholestasis.

Go straight to your DR and ask about Cholestasis of Pregnancy.
It is to do with your liver and pregnancy hormones.

It is serious you can have STILL BIRTH it delivered later than 37 weeks.
I got itchy in my first pregnancy no rash but a terrible itch and so sick at about 36 week Dr said nothing to worry about but i nearly lost my baby boy.
Then I had it with my next pregnancy at 12 week and was diagnosed with Cholesatsis.
and now I am in week 24 with this baby and I have it again IT STARTED AT 8 WEEKS THIS TIME.

Ask to have your BILE SALTS tested this is the only test that will diagnose OC, argue with your Dr if you have to, it is worth it.
Liver fuction tests and blood counts DO NOT diagnose OC.

An itch doesn't seem much but it can be fatal to your baby if it goes undiagnosed.
The itching can be any where I had it on my legs and arms at first.

I don't want to scare you but please realise this is very important

I got that too. I'm also around 37-38 weeks. It's called PUPP rash. You can ask your doctor and he'll give you a prescription cream if it doesn't work you'll get a antihestimine pill called HydrOXYzine HCI. This makes you drowsy, it is to me. The rash will go away after you deliver, till then you're stuck.

My wife got itchy during all the pregnancy. Doctor said it was her skin stretching. Could be in this final step your baby is growing faster. Use hydration lotion or cream, or anti stretch marks products for pregnant women.
