I created a 6 gig partition on one of my hardrives then installed windows but the remaining 34g is not showing

it just shows as a 6 gig hardrive is there anyway i can still use the rest of the hardrive?

why would u ever install windows on a 6gb partition? u need room to install programs. most programs need to be installed on the same partition the operating system is on.

right click on "My Computer" then select "Manage" in the Computer Management console select Disk Management under the Storage section. You should see Disk 0, if you only have 1 disk in this case. You should see the "Unallocated" 34gigs right click that and select Partition and create a primary or logical partition, in your case either will work.
