yes he is. He just gets a hard time because he is short. but that doesnt mean nothing. he has a strong arm and he is good out of pocket.

It's just a question of opinion right now. He had a fine career with the Buckeyes, despite the disappointment of the Gator game.
As far as the NFL is concerned, he didn't draft higher because of not having the so-called "measurables". It will be interesting to see if he can beat out Kyle Boller for the back-up role in Baltimore. If he can, and McNair goes down (and let's face it, with Steve that's ALWAYS a possibility), only then we'll get to see how good he could be.

Brady Quinn
Jamarcus Russel
Kevin Kolbe
Trent Edwards
Drew Stanford
All of these QBs are better then Troy Smith hense why they went several rounds before him.

It doesn't appear so. He was drafted in the 5th round 174 overall by the Baltimore Ravens. He's somewhat short at 6'1" and seems more suited to the running game. Jamarcus Russell was the number 1 overall pick and seems to be the odds on favorite to be the best rookie QB this year.

They guy is asking if he is one of the best ROOKIE Quarterbacks chosen in the 07 draft. And the answer to that is obvious... YES! He has already gotten high praise from his coaches in Baltimore. I think he will prove to be one of the best steals in the draft. Once McNair is done in Baltimore he will take the starting QB spot.
Brady Quinn is an over rated cocksmoker. He faced 0 competion at Notre Dame and when he did he lost. BUST!!!

Nope, people will try and use the Heisman card, but that won't fly if he can't perform. He definitly let himself go after the championship game (in which he performed horrible). He does need to be taller because of the massive size of pro defense players. We wont be seeing him in a pro-football game any time soon.

A resounding no. Quinn, Russell, Beck are a few to name who are better than Smith. That's why he went in the 5th round.
