WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Shunned by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization, the Islamist group Hamas scored a publicity coup this week by defending its policies in Gaza with opinion pieces in two of the country's most influential newspapers on the same day.

The New York Times and The Washington Post gave space to Ahmed Yousef, a senior Hamas figure, on Wednesday to argue that the United States should not interfere in Gaza, where Hamas took control after six days of bloody fighting against Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah fighters.

The Islamic radicals are experts at manipulating the main stream media in this country - as were the North Viet Namese some 40 years ago.

Many times, the actual source used will be unreliable - and questionable at best - even when other more reliable sources are available to the reporter but contradict their demented, far left, preconceived conclusions.

As an example of this, not related to the Islamic radicals, the liberal professors are still nursing their shins after bloodying them while jumping on the Duke rape bandwagon. Rich white boys vs. poor black girl......to hell with the facts, to hell with the ongoing investigation and to hell with any research to find the truth - the liberals just couldn't resist this opportunity to demonstrate their "unbiased" fairness in defending the down trodden.

Well we still have Freedom of the Press as far as I know. Amadinejad was also allowed press coverage with his letter to American citizens. The borders are still open so terrorists can still pour into this country if they want. In order to really get tough on Islamic radicals we may need to do some rethinking.

The New York Times and The Washington Post are the two most leftist rags in this country. This is garbage. Get some balance in your reading.

If we can get Israel to go along with the establishment of a free state for the Palestinians, then we should do that.
