I have a sort of heavy period and I have to go swimming tommorow for a party! Please what is the best because I am really nervous that I am going to leak because I have never used a tampon before! Please help!

My advice is that this probably isn't the best time for you to experiment with a new product. It takes a couple times to get used to putting a tampon in. And also you need to find the right absorbancy for yourself.
It sounds like you're pretty young so try the "Sport" or "slim glide" ones. Tampex and Playtex are usually the most common.
Also, when you wear one with your panties and clothing, you may want to also use a panty liner just in case it leaks. In the water that isn't so much an option.
