it makes weird screeching noises underneath when i accelerate. can anyone help????

With the transmission in park with motor running step on the gas petal hard and release immediately. If you heard the noise it' most likely the serpentine belt slipping, a bad alternator bearing, water pump bearing, or power steering pump problem. Take your vehicle to an your dealer if it's still under warranty to isolate the problem. If not any good independent mechanic will easily find the cause. Good Luck.
