Is clear watery disharge and mild cramping a sign I'm ovulating?

Yes, there are several types of "fertile" mucus you will see before and during ovulation.
This discharge is either clear and stretchy or clear/whitish and watery. After you ovulate, the discharge will get stickier and you will start to feel "dry."
And yes...many women have cramping during ovulation. It can range from mild to severe causing them to double over! There's a medical term for it - "mittelschmertz" meaning "pain in the middle" and is well-documented by fertility experts.
I get ovulation pain (and sometimes light spotting) every month.
