Yes,
The only downside is that it keeps AL and NL seperate until the WS, although there pretty much the same except for strategy by the coaches, and a full time hitter (DH)....Making AL pitchers' ERA higher in general vs. a NL pitchers'. Interleague helps cities with dual teams in seperate leagues compete for city rights, bragging rights for the fans...who after all is baseball. Another thing it could give a glimpse into which league is more powerful, before the WS in order to have an idea to base the competition in the WS up. Allows for more statistical matchups as well. MY favorite league game, Bos vs. Atl, franchise rivals..... and of course the subway series mets yankees, or bay challengers A's Giants....then there is Angels Padres Dodgers matchups. Hou vs Texas rangers, chicago N vs Chicago south matchup of Cubs vs white sox. Again, these classic rivals now get a chance to fight for there city's bragging rights.

Not really. The best rivalry is Yanks vs. Mets in interleague. The match-ups are not very compelling aside from that series. Also causes some problems with the DH. Let them stick with games against teams in their own league.

Yes, interleague play is good. I like watching the Tigers play great NL teams as well as great AL teams.

I like it because you get to play teams you wouldn't normally see.
Right now, the A's are playing at the Mets and the Yanks are in town to face the Giants. And because I don't have tix, I ain't moving from the couch.
Now the DH rule is a totally different story!

Yes, because I always get tired of facing the same teams over and over again.

It's nice to play a team on the other league. I mean, who likes to play Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, A's, all freakin' season?

Especially if your a Twins fan 5.5 games back :- /
(And currently losing 2-4 in a game right now)

its interesting...it doesn't do much when you have the royals playing the nationals but when you live in the bay area and its the giants and A or in new york with yanks and mets it means a lot
