ok well i was reorganizing my room and i found my old journal/diary i use to keep. i was reading it and its kinda embaracing lol. mostly about guys i use to like, but some stuff is like how i hated my sisters that day, or ya know stuff like that. ok well im worried if someone might read it, so i was gonna throw it away, but then i was thinking, its my diary ive wrote in from ages 10 to 15 i should keep it beacuse its what i did everyday. so part of me wants to throw it away and part of me wants to keep it. what should i do? oh and also itsn not like i can take the bad or embaressing stuff out cuz theres to many pages and stuff. and also i know someday someone will read it when i die, like my future kids, or my mom if i die young, idk if i want them reading it, just embaressing.

No way! Keep it. I recently found some of my old diaries, and even though they were embarrassing, it will be nice to look back on when I'm older. And when you die you'll be dead, so you won't be able to feel embarrassed if somebody reads it. Unless there is something in it that you did or something that would make them think less of you that you wouldn't ever tell them, then maybe you should throw it away.

do you still write in a journal?? if you do then i think that you can come up with many more embaressing things to say. but if you dont then i think you should keep it. You can always look back at it and relive those clumsey moments that you hopefully have learned from. And everyone has embaressing moments so if someone does happen to read it.. then thell just have to understand that there no different from you.You just happen to write them down. if your really afraid of someone finding it then throw it away. if not.. yeah.. i think you should keep it.

Hi there,
I think you should keep it in a safe place if you dint want someone to read it now. Who knows one day you may change your mind and decide that those memories could help someone like your kids. sometimes is hard to talk to them because for some weird reason they think we were never their age and for the reason they think we don't understand them at all .maybe someday you will be in a situation to where you can share those memories of the kid that once lived in you with your own kids and he/she realizes
that they can actiolly talk to you knowing that you had the same feelings just like them.

Keep it in a safe place. I love to go back and read mine... Even though a LOT of it is embarrassing. Put it in a safe or in a box in your basement or attic. Then one day you'll find it and have a trip down memory lane.

Throw if away. If he cheated on you...hes a goner...You on the different hand could be going out with acquaintances and flow on. call your individuals and tell them you prefer to hold out or some thing.

I would keep it... but under lock and key...
In this day and age, its not possible..., so what I would suggest that you scan it and e-mail it to yourself... so it will be there on line for you... to keep going back for the sweet memories...
The hard copy, I would shred... or dispose off carefully...

If you feel like the memories you wrote hold no meaning to you, then toss it. Make sure it's in a dumpster so your family doesn't find it.

Either tear it page by page into little pieces, or shred it. You don't want something coming back at you in ten years.

Well, keep it! It'll be fun to reminisce about what you used to do when you were a tween and laugh about how crazy you were. And don't be embarrassed!
