His latest creation "Sicko" favors the failed European and Canadian health care approach. As people there blow savings to get operations in this country instead of waiting in long lines He is twisting facts again and trying to get us to believe their systems are better than ours. What we need in this country is leadership in congress that will step on corporations that have withdrawn from their role of providing health care for employees and pushing the burden on the taxpayers. Those who waste money going to see Moore's trash should get the facts from those in Europe or Canada. My question to those that do not approve of our system is "Why do people from all over the world come here for medical care??"

He is an idiot from head to toe. FACT: people do not go from the US to Canada or Europe for health care but they sure do come here. Let's not even mention the inconvenient truth that most countries with socialized medicine are implementing differing levels of the free market system to help overcome the massive failings of their current systems.

You wrote "Why do people from all over the world come here for medical care??" - Actually some are going to India - and the hysterical thing is Americans are going to India for health care because it is cheaper there - Americans are going to Canada and Mexico because medications are cheaper there. I know people in the US who wait a long time for surgery or how about the poor folks in the US who just don't get the top care? As for twisting facts, lets not forget George Bush and Iraq - Iraq is a case of facts getting twisted so bad that many American lives have been lost and then the American vets are complaining of poor conditions in veteran hospitals in the US. The truth of the matter is number of Americans don't have health care. The US maybe technologically advanced but that hi-tech care is not readily available for everyone.

Aha - Micheal Moore - still stuck in the 'geek' mentality of high school, where he could nark people out and get attention, which he mistook for freindship.

Having been through the Canadian healthcare system at one point in my life, it's a lot like being at Kaiser Permanente - you wait for your appointment with some doctor you got assigned to, they don't find what's wrong so you come back again in two weeks. And so on and so on....

I totally agree with you, but I also think the HMO's are the downfall of quality health care in America. It's a form of socialized medicine that we pay outrageous prices for. Additionally, they tend to hire doctors and staff who didn't graduate at the top of their class.

Sure, we need to re-vitialize health care, taking it out of the hands of the insurance companies and back in the hands of the doctors, even re-instituting pay-as-you-go with reasonable costs.

But Michael needed a new film so he could get more attention and break a few laws while doing it, hence his taking people out of the country.

If he really cared about the people, he could have set them up with private care in the US so they, the patients, didn't have to leave the country and get into trouble with the government.

Exposing ill people to criminal investigation and FBI scrutiny and who knows what else the gorevment will throw at these folks down the line just to make your movie? That's pretty 'Sicko'.

My medical care in this country has been great for the past 40 years. People like Moore who consider cornhole dogs and Triple Whoppers to be healthy should not dictate what healthcare should be like. He causes more panic than Hitler.

Well, it sure looks like he has been eating a lot of Ice cream, so i reckon he has suffered many brain freezes.

He twists the facts, like many liberals do when they are wrong, to prove his point. He is a liar.

I can't understand you exactly, but why could you say the "He is twisting facts again and trying to get us to believe their
systems are better than ours. "? Do you have any witness to prove that fact.
