If they kill someone, as with all murderers, they should be sentenced to death, the set free. Just tell them they will be killed some how, some time, and some where. The fear of the unknown will be sufficient punishment until the sentence is carried out.

here in my country, so many incidents of hit and run drivers and always in the news. if this kind of driver be caught, it depends on the situation he got involved. if the driver's victim died on the spot,..death penalty and give the family of the victim proper assistance by means of monetary funds for burial and know the victim age and profession or educational background, because the law applies depending on the ground or weigh of unlawfull acts of the driver...if ever the victime survive, the driver should shoulder all the necessary expenses from hospitalization, medical assistance and so on. the penalty should depend on the gravity of acts of reckless driving. its a long process of debate and process of showing evidence to the court.....but for me...sorry to say....if not death penalty.....life imprisonment....so they may learn their lesson of being reckless drivers...or lifetime community service.

maybe they should be hit and run victims as well. just the same as the ones who molest children they should be castrated and let on the side of the road somewhere.

let's just take all the creeps to and island somewhere and let them have their way with each other instead of with our children or our loved ones.
let them survive on their own with no help from the outside world.

If only the vehicle or property was damaged, take their license for a year. If a person was hurt it should be assault with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of a crime&depraved indifference charges. All of which carry heavy penalities.

Live with the family of those that have been harmed by them...walk a mile in their shoes as it were. And be a productive member of that family or go to jail forever without parole.

if the fella kills someone take a steam-roller start at the toes and SLOWLY make your way up from there. if he just hurts someone then hang 'im upside down and play tether-ball with 'im til he gets the idea of what not to do any more

if they are caught. jail time depending on the damage and then counsling. there must have been a reason they decided to flee. best to try and find out what that reason is so it wont happen again.
