Hebrews 2:16-2:17 says that Jesus was made like us that way he would know what it would be like to face human problems with all of our mortality. He would understand temptation from a human perspective where one could really be stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to decide between what seems best for them physically right there at the moment versus the spiritual and physical benefits in the long run from resisting temptation.

Our decisions are hard and Jesus knows that our spirit is willing to do what is right, but our flesh is weak at times. We make mistakes, but Jesus is merciful and accepts our attempts at righteousness to right our wrongs. All mistakes are wiped away by them being forgiven. A merciful God therefore makes no mistakes because in that light, all wrongs can be righted or forgiven.

Where there is no forgiveness, mistakes are eternal and uncorrectable. Where mercy abounds, mistakes are only a memory. To make a mistake is human, to forgive is godly.

We learn from our mistakes and if not for the mistakes that we make, how else would we, spiritually and morally grow to know how to make the most out of life.

Thank God for his mercy because we all make what we think are mistakes. The mistakes we make are really God's way of showing us that due to the mistakes that we make, we are not saved by our own flawlessness, but by God's Mercy, his forgiveness and his grace. Amen.

Peace.

I hope this helps.

People will try tell you that god doesn't make mistakes but he gave us free will which is why we make mistakes. This is ridiculous.
If god is all knowing and all powerful he must have known every decision we would ever make when he created us. And yet he created us exactly the way he did knowing that this would result in making these exact decisions.
So how could those decisions possibly be mistakes if they were known and predetermined by god before we were ever born? How could we possibly be held responsible for these decisions?
Think of it like this. God is absolutely perfect. By definition any being that is perfect is incapable of creating something that is not perfect, unless he wanted it to be that way. But if we did something that god did not want us to do, that means our design was flawed. Since god is the designer, God made a mistake.

Here's the real answer. There is no invisible man that lives in the clouds. Think rationally and think for yourself.

who said we made mistakes? the WORD mistake is a human comcept....the only thing anyone/anything can really do is produce results. If you want to exstrapolate ...well GOD created us and we created mistakes so wouldn't our mistakes be GOD's?
Anyway a couple of thousand years ago when Jesus knew Judas had turned him in and still waited for the Romans to come get him ...well if you were there would you have labeled it a "mistake"?

Jesus was a human being with Gods spirit in him. he probably tripped and fell a few times as a child. he may have said a word meaning another word. he may have peed on his foot and not the ground . since he was a human he made mistakes. of course. God my mother told me doesn't make mistakes though. of course with him creating humans that are now parasites on mother earths skin because were over populating and polluting this once pristine world.and will continue killing off the other creatures i would have to say that God making humans was a BIG mistake.for this world and for the other creatures trying to survive in the filth we make.IF i were God i would immediately kill all humans except for fifty thousand of them.

My logical assertion will be: If God resemble man. If he creates man in his image, then it is obvious to say, Yes, Jesus or God can make a mistake. That is, if you don't go too far to ask me "is God really exist"?

No, God does not make mistakes. but He has given us freewill, therefore we are likely to make some mistakes; He also gave Jesus free will.

No, they do not make mistakes like we do. They make mistakes that are much, much worse than ours, and have incredibly horrible consequences for billions of innocent life-forms.
